Gratitude for the present is a strange thing. Â
We spend so much time looking ahead — planning, worrying, trying to get somewhere — that we forget the only place life actually happens is right here, in the moment we’re already standing in.
Today I caught myself doing exactly that. Thinking about tomorrow, next week, next month. And then something small pulled me back — a quiet moment, a breath, a pause. Nothing dramatic. Just enough to remind me that the present isn’t a stepping stone. It’s the whole path.
So today, I’m choosing to notice what’s already here.
Not what’s missing.
Not what’s next.
Just… this.
Sometimes that’s enough.
